Sole 24 Ore: Milan expected to appoint a Chief Financial Officer

AC Milan’s reshuffle at board level is set to continue as the club are expected to appoint a new Chief Financial Officer, according to a report.

According to what Il Sole 24 Ore (via SempreMilan.it) are reporting, there should be another new addition to the management after the appointment of Giorgio Furlani as the new CEO, which will become effective after the farewell of Ivan Gazidis at the beginning of next month.

Milan are expected to appoint a name that Elliott Management knows well in the role of CFO and that man is Stefano Cocirio, currently Elliott’s Associate Portfolio Manager and a former member of the Milan board of directors.

He would take on the position of Chief Financial Officer of the club, a position that is not currently occupied by anyone, and the report states that should he accept the new position, Cocirio will also resign from his position with the US fund Elliott.
