WATCH: Truck honks twice (!) as Cameron Smith takes his tee shot!

Cameron Smith probably could have done without this truck honking its horn during its backswing.

Smith is back in action this week at LIV Golf Tucson with his Ripper GC side.

He played alongside Phil Mickelson and Charles Howell III at The Gallery Golf Club.

Smith tied for No. 7 at 1-under par for $25 million. the prize purse when this happened.

The 150th Open champion took his aim and waved the boss a few times, as he often does, as he took a few final looks at the fairway.

As he reached the apex of his backswing, a truck could be heard honking its horn twice.

We’re not immediately sure if this was intentional or just an accident.

The horn can be heard just as Smith reached the top of his backswing, so you never know.

Some golf fans on social media were quick to point out that this could have been orchestrated by PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan.

Or maybe it was Hall of Famer Fred Couples behind the wheel of the truck?

This week, the couple said Smith’s reasoning for attending was LIV ‘comical’. He also described the aforementioned Mickelson as ‘a nutjob’.

He didn’t stop there as he also decided to take aim at Sergio Garcia. He called him ‘a clown’.

Smith somehow managed to hang on to his club. His shot went straight to the right and eventually landed near the fairway.

Look here:

Smith unfortunately went on to make bogey. It was his second straight shot in as many holes.
