It’s been ten years since British singer Aluna Francis released Body musichis debut album as one half of AlunaGeorge, which came out in the summer of 2013. Since then, Francis has set out on his own under the name Aluna, and in 2020 he released his debut solo album Renaissance. (It has of course since been covered on a different album called Renaissance.) Today Aluna is back with a new song “Killing Me”, a collaboration with London producer TSHA.
“I’ve been a huge fan of TSHA’s productions and was so excited to work together,” Aluna said in a statement. “But what came out surprised us both – it’s catchy bop, yet it’s crisp and fresh with that distinct originality that TSHA keeps us all in check. It took a while as we tossed the song back and forth and at one point even trashed it, but our shared obsession pulled us through and finally it’s ready to join the world!
