Amy Robach, TJ Holmes eye ‘Ellen’ producers for new gig

Unemployed lovers and former “GMA3” hosts Amy Robach and TJ Holmes are betting on their romance to land them their next gig.

The couple is “aggressively pitching” their own show to the producers behind “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” according to the insider, who continues to insist that “they welcome the constant coverage” of their relationship.

– It’s easier for them to put on a show if they stay in the news and think they’re rock stars. They are selling their chemistry,” the source said.

The couple’s chemistry was a huge hit on ABC before they got the boot.

Network executives kept commenting on how perfect they were together as co-hosts, and “they fed off that,” the source says.

“They definitely believe their chemistry would sell because it sold on ABC,” the insider said.

The lovebirds are banking on their chemistry to sell the show.

At ABC, however, a source warns: “they sold this brother/sister chemistry. Now they’re selling sex.”

A source close to Robach also confirmed that the duo will “put on a show a la Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos” — because they have to get back to work eventually.

“Whatever deal they got from ABC is not going to support them,” the insider said.

Meanwhile, Robach and Holmes are preparing for a “symbolic run” in Sunday’s United Airlines Half Marathon in New York. We are told they are part of the first wave of runners who will start the race at 7am.

Robach and Holmes will run in the United Airlines Half Marathon in NYC on Sunday.

They ran the same race last year together with Robach’s then-husband Andrew Shue.

It was Holmes’ first competition, and it’s said to be around the same time things started to get romantic between them.

However, a source close to the couple told Us in November that that wasn’t the origin of their relationship.

The couple’s representative did not respond to us.
